Terms for using Relive

1. Who provides Relive

Relive is provided by Christopher Duke, a sole trader trading as Relive Group in the United Kingdom. Our correspondence address is 14 Berrisford Avenue, Sheffield, S21 4LJ. Email hello@relive.wedding for contractual questions.

2. The agreement

The customer is the person who creates the account or buys a package. The agreement includes these terms, the package and price shown when ordered, our privacy notice, and, where we process wedding data for the customer, our data processing terms. Invited helpers act for the customer and do not own the wedding.

3. Packages and price

Package contents, the one-off price, and hosting period are shown on the pricing page. The price displayed at checkout will be the total payable, including any applicable tax and unavoidable fee. We will not add a subscription unless you separately and clearly choose one. Paid checkout is provided securely within the Relive experience by Stripe.

4. Starting the service

Account and gallery setup can begin as soon as you ask us to start. Starting the service does not automatically end your statutory cancellation right. That right can end after full performance only where you have expressly requested an early start and acknowledged the loss of the right as required by law.

Guest photo, video, and guestbook contributions open seven days before the recorded wedding date. This starts the active collection window. For example, Gallery remains open from seven days before the wedding until 30 days after it. Gallery viewing and planning tools may be available before guest contributions open.

5. Cancellation and refunds

For paid packages, Relive will offer a full refund when you cancel before the scheduled guest upload opening date, which is seven days before the recorded wedding date. If the date is changed before uploads open, this deadline moves with it. From the point guest uploads first open, the automatic full-refund promise ends because the live collection service is available; cancellation requests are reviewed against the service supplied and any rights the law gives you. Your statutory 14-day cancellation right also applies from the day after the contract is made, subject to the rules for a service started at your express request. Faulty or misdescribed services remain covered by your consumer rights. The complete process and model cancellation form are on our cancellation and refunds page.

6. What we provide

We will provide the selected service with reasonable care and skill and aim to match the package description. Availability can be affected by internet connections, guest devices, third-party infrastructure, maintenance, and events outside reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted service, but we monitor core journeys, publish service updates, and will take reasonable steps to restore them.

Signature photo collages and highlights films are prepared automatically from eligible wedding media. Results depend on the photographs and videos available, and customers remain responsible for reviewing a creation before sharing or printing it. These automated features do not include manual editing or a human review.

Where included in the package, song requests let guests suggest music and vote for existing requests. The customer controls when requests open and may share a private queue link with their DJ. Requests are suggestions only: neither Relive nor the customer guarantees that a DJ will play them.

7. Fair usage

Packages have no fixed total for genuine wedding guests, photos, or videos. Our Fair Usage Policy protects weddings from automated, unlawful, clearly non-wedding, or exceptional activity that threatens the service. Any restriction will be proportionate. Where practical, we will contact the customer before pausing new sharing and explain how to resolve the issue. Contact support if you believe genuine wedding activity has been restricted. Media already collected remains protected during a temporary pause.

Fair usage does not mean unlimited storage outside the wedding service period. Guest contributions are only accepted during the scheduled collection window, beginning seven days before the wedding.

8. Customer responsibilities

Customers must keep account and QR access reasonably secure, use the service lawfully, tell guests how their information will be used, configure privacy sensibly, and download anything they wish to keep before hosting ends. Dietary or allergy details must be limited to what is needed for wedding food and hospitality. The customer must confirm that the guest, or their parent or guardian, provided the details for that purpose, have an appropriate lawful basis and special-category condition, correct or remove the details when asked, and share the protected venue service plan only with people who need it.

9. Photos, videos, and other content

Uploaders keep ownership of their content. By uploading, they confirm they have the rights and permissions needed to share it and give the customer and Relive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence only to store, process, adapt for display, moderate, show, and deliver it through that wedding. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for narrowly retained security, legal, or recovery copies described in our policies. Content must not be unlawful, harmful, infringing, or shared to invade someone's privacy.

10. Moderation and suspension

Customers can hide or delete wedding content. Relive may remove specific content or temporarily restrict the minimum necessary feature to protect people, comply with law, investigate credible abuse, or keep the service secure. Unless urgent action is required, we will explain the reason and give the customer a reasonable chance to resolve it. We will not suspend an entire paid wedding for a minor or unrelated issue.

11. Hosting, export, and deletion

Guest contributions open seven days before the wedding. Hosting expiry remains the recorded wedding date plus the package period and any extension, so Gallery provides a 37-day collection window from opening through its 30-day post-wedding hosting period. We warn before closure, then provide a recovery and export window before deletion. Account deletion removes the profile and access; for a wedding owner it also schedules deletion of their wedding data, while an invited helper's deletion does not remove another person's wedding. See the privacy notice for more detail.

The wedding date can be changed directly until guest contributions open. After opening, an owner or wedding manager can request a new date; the existing date remains active while our support team checks the request, normally within 24 hours. Approval moves the wedding and hosting dates but does not reopen a refund promise that ended when guest uploads first became available.

12. Support

Standard support is available through the account and public support pages. Signature includes priority handling, but this does not mean a guaranteed response time or a managed wedding service. Security and privacy matters go to security@relive.wedding. Service incidents are shown on the public status page where possible.

13. Responsibility when things go wrong

We do not exclude responsibility where the law does not allow it, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by customer instructions, unlawful uploads, unsupported devices, or failures outside our reasonable control, although we will still act with reasonable care and skill.

14. Changes and ending the agreement

We may improve the service and update these terms. We will not remove a material paid feature from an active package without a reasonable alternative, proportionate refund, or right to end the agreement. Material term changes will be explained before they affect an active wedding. Either side may end the agreement where the other commits a serious breach and does not fix it after reasonable notice, unless urgent action is necessary.

15. Complaints and governing law

Please contact hello@relive.wedding first so we can try to put things right. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away mandatory consumer rights or the right to use the courts where a consumer lives when the law provides it.
